大手町・丸の内・有楽町エリアに266枚のアートフラッグを掲出するベースフラッグ・プロジェクト「POLYPHONIC REFLECTIONS（ポリフォニック・リフレクションズ）」。TOKYO PHOTOGRAPHIC RESEARCH PROJECTと大丸有エリアマネジメント協会「リガーレ」がコラボレーションしたこのプロジェクトにA NEW SCALEはリサーチとテキストで参加しました。今後数年間、広告掲示のある時期を除いてエリア内に掲示されています。

今回は様々な方とエリア内を歩いて出てきたたくさんの言葉をサンプリングし、最終的に16種のテキストに絞りました。それぞれの単語、フレーズに背景や物語が存在し、多層的な（Polyphonic）声となって街の風景を反射（Reflections）しています。

POLYPHONIC REFLECTIONS is a project to display 266 art flags in the Otemachi, Marunouchi and Yurakucho areas, in collaboration with TOKYO PHOTOGRAPHIC RESEARCH PROJECT and Ligare (OMY Area Management Association). A NEW SCALE participated in this project with the research and the texts. It will be displayed in the area for the next few years, except when advertisements are displayed.

We sampled many words from walking around the area with various people and finally narrowed it down to 16 different phrases. Each word and phrase has its own background and story, becoming a multi-layered (Polyphonic) voice that reflects the cityscape (Reflections).
